As a leader supplier of real-time feedback educational models, TRI  Medical was created to enhance diagnostic and manual skills of DO, DPT, and DC professional students and new graduates. TRI Spine utilizes evidenced based medicine to enhance professional students' self-efficacy, confidence, and diagnostic skills prior to clinical rotations or residency. With the ability to demonstrate variations in mobility and alignment, users will become effective at discerning spinal conditions. TRI  Medical products can be used in the lab  or clinic setting to enhance manual skills, including joint mobilization and cavitation, and differential diagnosis. 

TRI Medical, Inc was founded by Alisa Drapeaux, PhD, DPT, ATC in March 2024. As an orthopedic physical therapist for 20 years and college professor at Drake University, the creation of the TRI spine was rooted in her experiences within the clinic and classroom. The development of the TRI Spine was founded in building self-efficacy, confidence of professional students and new provider manual spine skills and diagnostic accuracy.  "Even the self-assured will raise their perceived self-efficacy if models teach them better ways of doing things" (Albert Bandura).

Dr. Drapeaux continues to be active in patient care, scholarly activities, and teaching. Her research focuses on patient outcomes and hip and spine syndrome and includes multiple publications and poster presentations.
